MSI Z77A-GD65 SOUND DRIVER

Still looking for some guidance on this. In the Realtek display panel the Digital output is enabled and the front jack and backpanel are greyed out. AMD phenom IIx4 black edition 3. When the ram was purchased, was it a quad channel kit or 2 x dual channel kits? I am unable to get the backpanel to be detected at all.

When the ram was purchased, was it a quad channel kit or 2 x dual channel kits? There is also Dolby live msii I'm not sure if the Realtek can or is able to use it to live encode.

Which bios do you have installed? Are you talking about a buzzing or hissing coming from inside the computer case, or from your speakers?

MSI Z77A-GD65 Motherboard

Not all cases play nice with all motherboards--I had one Antec case where I had to place a small strip of electrical tape at the backplane in order to prevent solder joints from touching parts of the case, and this happened to be the solder joints for the onboard sound which was creating a real nasty whine. Could this be a hardware failure? I purchased a new board same as before from a different retailer and it works fine.

I'm pretty sure we could do an alignment analysis on s of Board and find the same descrepencies. It was a single 16GB kit - so 4x4. Corsair Dominator CL: This is what I'm looking at: I see no options for such with the bundled software, only "surround" coughed up through a regular stereo format.

Here is a high quality photo of the CPU socket that they said had bent pins. I got a reply from MSI that said the socket is fine and z77a-gd65 the retailer should have replaced the board.

Thanks for the followup update. It doesn't change to auto. Abula on August, I tried re-installing the newest audio driver, flashed mobo with the newest bios but nothing seem to work.

I've managed to get the front panel connection to give out some noise, but that's all it is, noise.

I can't see any bent CPU pins? Also, if it is the pins you may be able to soynd them. THis board is brand new, so maybe it's worth sending in for a replacement It's not only my headphones, when I'm playing heavy games my microphone also has a buzz.

After installing it in my case with a Intel i5 cpu, XFX HD Dual fan gpu and 8gb of kingston ram MHz I installed a new version z77ag-d65 windows 7, installed the newest bios version, chipset driver ect. The chokes vibrate and whine when C-State lowers the voltage when the computer is idle. This is not exclusive of the msi, you have different ways to do this, 1 easiest would be to send the signal through z77a-d65, the PCM audio signal can be read by most receivers.
